So, I started this past Friday off with a “Double Header” wedding weekend and ironically enough at PNC Park! The next day, I was able to spend with one of my favorite clients Amber (Im a hairdresser by day at JCPenney Salon)! She is one of the sweetest people I’ve met, and I couldn’t have hoped for a better day for the two of them.
Anthony and Amber’s first date was a fishing day. Ambers fishing pole kept falling apart, and getting snagged, so Anthony let her use his instead. After their New Years Eve engagement, they started planning their big day!
These two are so sweet together, and I LOVED shooting their engagement session too. Amber and her bridesmaids got ready at the Bride and Grooms new home! It makes for such a cool getting ready space when it’s your own place. After Amber had all of the finishing touches done, she had an emotional first look with her dad outside of their house.
We headed over to Small Barn in Marion Center for their outside ceremony, and barn reception. The weather was absolutely perfect. I literally felt 2 raindrops on my face before the ceremony, just enough for good luck! After family photos in the field, we headed to the reception where they cut their cake and had the most moving first dances. The groom and his mother shared a polka at one point, the bride and her father shared a moment, and the bride and groom shared their first slow dance.
The reception was so much fun! I was able to climb the barn ladder to shoot the bridal dance and got a great view. They ended the night with a sparkler exit!
Anthony and Amber, I am sad our time is over for now. I am so happy to have met you both, and so honored to have shot one of the best days of your life! Thank you so much for letting me in. XOXO
