Shaun and Christines’ Wedding this past weekend was at the beautiful rolling hills at Burnhead Grazings in Indiana PA. There are sheep, donkeys and horses down below, (Who like to talk during the speeches), Ha-larious…. And the guests enjoy the reception up above. We had a crazy hot weekend here in Pennsylvania, but there was plenty to drink at the barn!
We started the day at the Hilton Garden Inn in Indiana, where Chrissy got ready to walk down the aisle. She had the most amazing wedding dress, that came with a manual on her phone. Her cousin and mother, helped piece it all together. The straps in the back crisscrossed and interloped in different places. It was just gorgeous! Then, she slipped on her cowgirl boots (I just love a wedding dress with boots, it was so pretty!) I photographed the ring on the ring bearers outfit. They had their chocolate lab Beamer as the ring bearer. If you know me well, you know I LOVE dogs. I was so excited to see this dog in a tiny tux.
After we finished up at the hotel, we headed to the ceremony at Burnhead Grazings. They had crisp white chairs and a set of doors underneath a 400 year old oak tree. I just love a bit of history. As you can tell, I REALLY liked the tree. There are some pretty cool shots of it below! Shaun waited for Chrissy at the end of the aisle, and they had a very private intimate wedding with about 30 guests. I loved watching the interactions between the family, as some of them had just met for the first time! Next, Beamer came down the aisle (He is such a good boy!!) and then Chrissy was walked down the aisle by her brother Michael. So sweet. The ceremony was short and sweet, and they shared their first kiss as husband and wife. It’s always one of my favorite parts!
Next, we took the family formals underneath the tree, and then sent everyone off to the reception. After everyone left, we captured some beautiful photos of the two of them. The venue has a really pretty creek/crick in the back, and a gorgeous tree covered in ivy. Im kind of in love with ivy, and moss. It looks like its out of a fairy tale! Since it was 90+ degrees, we wrapped up the portraits and headed to the reception for some water. It was SO hot, but they were absolute champs about it.
Once we arrived at the reception, they had the sweetest greeting from their dog Beamer! He was SO excited to see mom and dad. Beamer hung out in the center of the reception with plenty of water, and attention from everyone there. The bride and groom shared a first dance, and cut their cake from Cake Shotts. Then we had the most amazing BBQ dinner from Brody’s Chophouse. The brioche rolls were SO delicious and the pork was incredibly tender. Highly recommend! After some rounds of corn hole, and dancing, they wrapped the night up and headed home!
All in all these two had a beautiful day. It may have been hot, but at least the rain held off for them! This crazy Pennsylvania weather is always so unpredictable.
Shaun and Chrissy, I had a great time spending it with you and your family this weekend. I was so happy to be a part of your wedding day. I hope you guys have a blessed life in Florida, and find nothing but happiness!
XOXO – Jaclyn
