Last Saturday at Rustic Acres Farm in Volant PA was so beautiful. Everything about this venue was to die for! Rob and Amanda went all out on table arrangements, food, and everything in between.
Rob and Amanda were in between states before they were finally able to have their first date. They talked about this moment for so long, they ended up shutting the restaurant down because they had so much to talk about! This pair got engaged in the beautiful city of New York, on Bow Bridge. Rob had a photographer friend capture the entire thing! After that, they spent the entire day sightseeing and enjoying each others company. They have been planning this day for about a year now, and it came together so beautifully!
We started the day at the bridal suite cottage. The lights in there are so romantic, and the backyard made for a beautiful backdrop for detail shots! Amanda had special handkerchiefs made for both of her parents, and they both used them immediately! Every part of this day was so perfectly planned. She had some 1920 elements throughout including her dress, veil, and details at the reception. Everything went together without a hitch. The amount of eucalyptus between the table arrangements and bouquets made me so happy! I can’t tell you enough about how beautiful everything was. I literally stopped dead in my tracks when I saw the table settings. Just stunning.
After Amanda and her father shared a first look, they shared the sweetest embrace. I heard him say how beautiful she looked, and how much he loved her. Gah. The father daughter stuff always gets me. Next Rob came out, and they read their letters to each-other back to back before the first look. Rob was so stunned, and couldn’t help but wrap her up in his arms!
Next was the ceremony under the most beautiful willow tree I have ever seen. Another thing I am slightly obsessed with! After that, we did family portraits under the tree, bridal party photos, and some just married pictures of the bride and groom. They had THE coolest car. I am not a car person, so I couldn’t tell you the year and all the deets. But, it looks pretty sweet in the photos.
The reception was so much fun. AND THE DINNER. Amanda is in the food industry, and literally served her guests the best of the best. Everything was so delicious, and I am always thankful to have a hot meal after working all day! The pork melted in your mouth with this amazing peach sauce served over top, paired with grilled vegetables and red skinned mashed potatoes. K, go ahead and grab your self a snack now!
At the end of the reception we had about 2 minutes of a sunset left, and got some amazing portraits by the field, and back to that shiny ‘vette!
Rob and Amanda, I am so glad you found me, and let me in on your wedding day! Your guests were just the sweetest, and you guys threw an amazing party for all of your family and friends. I can see how much you love each other, and how much everyone loves you in return. I know you two have so many years of happiness ahead of you! Congratulations!
XOXO- Jaclyn
