Not only are these two one of the sweetest couples I’ve worked with, their vintage wedding was absolutely beautiful! All Saturday, we had a threat of rain, but it quit just in time for portraits at The Mount Assisi Gardens in Loretto PA.
We started the day in Nanty Glo at the United Methodist Church. They had a traditional ceremony, and Erins brother walked her down the aisle to give her away. The church had beautiful stained glass windows throughout, and gave a warm intimate feel to the ceremony.
After family pictures at the church we drove to the gardens in the rain. I had my clear umbrella ready, however the rain decided to stop a few minutes after we parked! During photos, the sun even came out for these two.
We made our way to the reception, where the best man and maid of honor gave 2 amazing speeches. We had a fantastic dinner, and carried on with the bouquet and garter toss. The bridal dance was especially entertaining when the groom was carried the whole way outside! Andrew finally made his way to his bride in the center after a lot of exhausted tries. We snuck outside for a few end of the evening portraits, in between the rain, and tornado sightings. The sky was pretty dramatic that evening, so we had to be sure to capture that! We really had a beautiful day, and the on and off rain cooled things down for everyone in the end.
Andrew and Erin, you have such an amazing relationship, and such loving and supporting family and friends. Thank you so much for choosing me to be part of your special day, and document all of these memories for you!
