Why did you do your boudoir shoot?

Originally I did my shoot as a birthday gift for my boyfriend. It definitely turned into much more than that though.

What did doing this shoot do for your self confidence, self worth, and self image? Tell me your story.

Over the past couple of years I have struggled with my self image and confidence. This shoot that was just supposed to be a gift turned into much more. I spend my days making everyone else beautiful and helping them love themselves that sometimes I get put on the back burner. It was nice to be on the other side of things for once, Jaclyn and Beth were amazing and uplifting right from the start. Being pampered before the shoot was wonderful. When Jaclyn showed me one of my images on her camera I didn’t even recognize myself. This shoot has made me view myself in a whole new light.

Was your experience what you were expecting? If not, how was it different?

My experience was more than I could have imagined!

I had THE best time with this girl at her boudoir session here in Indiana. She is a fellow hairdresser, and I just love her story. We spend so much time making everyone else beautiful, we totally forget about ourselves… I am so glad I got to show her how amazing and gorgeous she is!
