Mrs.C’s Boho Boudoir Session | Pittsburgh PA Boudoir Photography | Western Pennsylvania Luxury Boudoir Photographer

Have you ever done a boudoir shoot before? If so, how does your shoot with Jaclyn compare to your prior experience? This was my very first boudoir shoot!

Why did you do your boudoir shoot?I wanted to feel comfortable in my own skin, and learn to love myself. I went through my weight loss journey a year ago and felt like I started to find myself again. It’s not easy after two kids! This was my way of telling myself “you’re bangin and your hard work paid off!”

What was your favorite part of the session?Honestly just taking the time to do something for myself, which I never do. Having something that was all about me was so amazing and gave me a restart.

What did doing this shoot do for your self confidence, self worth, and self image? Tell me your story.Oh my gosh, EVERYTHING! Being a momma of two, I went through my fair share of weight fluctuations. I hated everything about how I looked for a long time. I worked my butt off and got back to a point where I felt beautiful again, but I still had my normal self conscious thoughts like no matter how hard I workout and eat right, I’ll never lose the little mom pouch. Seeing my photos after my shoot, I now feel like that’s okay! I have stretch marks and imperfections and that’s what makes me, me.

Was your experience what you were expecting? If not, how was it different?I was a bit nervous and was expecting that I would be so tense and not do very well. Once I was just a few minutes into the shoot, I was so comfortable and it was a completely enjoyable experience!

What was the best part of your experience? Would you change anything? It’s hard to pick the best part! Everything from how Jackie was able to see a vision with each of my outfits, to guiding me in amazing poses. Every bit of my experience was amazing and I wouldn’t change a thing! I didn’t want it to end!
